I've found a reference to a LMC Bristol, is this it?

I don't think so, and anyway that's not the answer.

Wingfield Bristol Special ?

Yes. Built in 1957 by Brian Wingfield, and recently restored.

I thought about using this as a new puzzle, but instead I'll post it here. It's the Wingield Bristol "as found" prior to restoration.
