Hi Craig:

Not my area of research, but can it be a Lancia, possibly an Aprilia due to short wheelbase and maybe 1938/9ish.  Don't know the body builder.

That's pretty close. It is a Lancia, but not an Aprilia, and a bit older than 1938. Locked for you until your next reply or 24hrs, whichever is soonest.

Hi Craig:

Only two days here and I am addicted and spending way to much time on the questions.

I cannot upload my example photo as it is in html format and I haven't been able to convert it to jpg yet.

I suggest today it may be a 1935 Lancia Augusta with coachwork by Garavini.
If that is not correct, please unlock the thread as I am working on 4-5 other quiz questions and need to let this one rest a bit.

OK, here is the photo.  Note the roofline, door hinges and general design of the fenders/wings are close although not identical.

That's close. It is a 1935 Lancia Augusta, but not by Garavini. I'll hold it locked for you, as you're quite close to solving this puzzle. Otherwise, I'm sure someone else will jump in with the answer.
