For some reasons the puzzle picture looks utterly familiar. Anyhow, do you mean the puzzle survived the 2nd WW?

Clue:  Isaac Funk & Woody Hayes.  Isaac Hayes?  The only thing I think of when I hear of Isaac Hayes is "Shaft."  Could the car be called a Shaft?

It shares a lot of characteristics with a 1903 Peerless, but I cannot find a specific reference to this car.
