That will be your second point, but could you be more specific? For instance give us the date when this photo was taken...

I dont now the exact date but the year must be 1954.
They also made a hardtop sedan both are build as a showcar for the 1955 Motorama

So, LaSalle II roadster to be accurate.
If you had googled LaSalle II, one of the first pictures is ther one above, un-modified, the date, 12-20-1954, is written on the pic.

I have the picture of both cars complete,they are in a Consumer Guide,Collectors Edition from 1981
Prototype Cars Cars that never were.

Concept car collector Joe Bortz currently owns the LaSalle II roadster, and is giving it a total restoration.  This car (along with many other GM show cars of that era) was originally a "push mobile", with only a mock-up of its proposed high-tech V6 engine under the hood. Mr. Bortz is adding a concealed electric drive train so that the car can move for the first time under its own power without disturbing the car's appearance under the hood. Quite an ambitious project, but if you've seen the Bortz restoration of the 1956 Impala show car, you know that the LaSalle II restoration will be completed and done right. I look forward to seeing it at Pebble Beach.

I found autopuzzles by a forum from a carclub I cant remember wich one,
I also have lot of books,magazines and editions from 1976 -2012 about classic and sportscars
