No Austin, not in Australia.

But the make starts with an "A", too.

An Adler? If I don't confuse it with something else, some guy from Germany has built it in 1930s.

grobmotorix

LOCKED for you..
It is an Adler, but who built it?

faksta

After some hours of extensive searching I have retraced the magazine I've seen the car in, and all I could find is that the car comes apparently from 1935. No names mentioned :( Guess it would be fair to unlock it for all then.

grobmotorix

Very good.

But I´m sorry - I need a name...

guido66

Still locked for Faksta or open for all as per his last post?

Long shot: Walter Bodenstein?

grobmotorix

LOCKED for guido66.

And shame on me. I´ve mixed it up.

It has indeed been built by Walter Bodenstein, but it was NOT an Adler, but from one of the top selling makes of Germany.

Tell me the right make and the point is yours.

guido66

Easier with a front view. It's an Opel.  ;)

I had this photo in stock without a name, only with the information that it was built by a engineer from Cologne. The photo was published in a newspaper in 1934.

Elsewhere I found the Bodenstein name, without any pictures, but with reference to an amphibious Opel.
