Odd Knutsen / VW 412-based one-off?
It is a VW-based one-off, but the builder was not Odd Knutsen.
Any connection to the Albar Jet?

Ooops, sorry! It
is. Solved.
Is there any info about this car?
Not much. Odd Knutsen was a funiture designer for the norwegian Ekornes (Stressless chairs). The car was built in the 60s or early 70s.
Thank you!
Do you know where it's currently at? Just asking, as I live not far from where Ekornes furniture is built.

It's VW-based, yes, but not Beetle.
Not a beetle, mid 70's I'll guess, not a transporter .......... 411?
But, I don't remember a 2 door.

Very, very close!
I'll lock it for you for 24 hours to see if you can dig it out.
I found it! It seems to be a home built 412 coupe. It seriously looks like they grafted an Opel Manta roof section onto it.

That's it! Well done.
Yes, sure looks like a Manta roof..
There were 2-door 412s - the station wagon and I think a 2-door version of the car as well.
