Depends what you want to know. It high price because it was handmade by Maggiora ? Or its stiff body ?

Ecnelis

I don't mean κ Coupe in general. I mean car in the picture.

Are you looking for, 1998 Lancia Kappa Coupe with a turbocharged 2-liter, 20-valve, 5-cylinder engine developing 220HP?  In it's time, this was the most powerful front-wheel-drive car in series production.

("Lancia K"?  Do you also call the Gamma the G?)

Is it a prototype by Bertone?

No, not that. But it is in fact 2.0t 20V version.

It's not "K". It's greek letter "κ" - "kappa". You won't find Lancia calling it "Kappa".

No, not "G". Greek letter "γ" - "gamma". ;)

Yes! It is almost worth a point, but there is something about that car what makes it rare. Any ideas?

Topic locked for thorax. :)

so, you say that the engine is a 2.0 t 20 V version: normal production engine for Lancia k.
nothing about the interiors (that I cannot see): I think Poltrona Frau.
the only thing remaining (because the car seems to be a "normal" production car) is the color of the body: in my memory, I've seen it here in Italy (not a common car even here) Blu Lancia, Red, Black and dark Grey. Your car seems to be light Grey.
It's only a supposition because I really don't know.

POINT! It's the exterior color - only three were made in this shade of silver/grey.

It has also violet Poltrona Frau leather - only nine were made that way.

Violet?
Wow! Any pics of that?
I had the K Coupe with 3.0 V6 for quite a while. It was black with a bright green leather Poltrona Frau interior, and I had green carpets made, too.
What a fantastic car that was!

What serial number was it? Mine is 3153 out of 3226.

Some say 2.0t is for those who like to drive and 3.0 V6 is for those, who like to listen. :D
