My "productive insomnia" has come to a screeching halt.  I'm gonna make a swag and ask if this car is the AMC Condor designed by Jack Carroll.

Ohh...and there's an F1 race on my DVR.  Can't miss that.

I had read of that exact prototype, without having seen a picture of the front.   

Fortunately the Amigo preceded the Pacer, and was not the final design.

They built a lot of variations - round headlights, hidden headlights, and so on.

I was collecting these for an update of the Dick Teague article; I'll add more there when it's done.
