Looks like some type of Corvette.
It does. However, it is not a Corvette.
Is it a GM of any sort?
No sir.
Well, then I have no clue where to start looking.
East.
British?
Dan
Wait...it's LHD...so, maybe Italian?
Dan
North
I don't see much of a grille opening; is it rear-engined?
Dan

Not German

My dear friends,
The solution is now "coma gros" ??
You must all be really kidding
How can a car be sold as "large coma", this must must have been a nick but not a model....
I guess large coma referred to the limited power available.
I do not want to spoil the fun we're having here but I'd like to see your sources.
Awaiting your comments
Cheers

Thank you
nice german site, I didn't know it....
"4CV built in Spain known under the name of "Coma-Large", and restored recently."
this is what it says: "known under the name"
So what is a "Large Coma"? something what makes us and potential customers yawn?
I have placed a question on this particular model on a spanish forum. I wonder if they will give an answer.
Cheers
s

Pedro Serra from Barcelona was the coachbulider.
Will see if I can find out more on the yawning "large coma"
I'll keep you updated

Finally, this is the answer.
The car is unique, it was built by Serra based on a 4CV for a spanish guy called Comacros.
So solutions given so far were wrong, call me thin skinned but.....
Puzzle with you soon

So what is a "Large Coma"?
Coma - A diffuse, luminous cloud of dust and gas that develops around a comet's nucleus as it nears the sun.
Gros - large.
Big Comet?
My Espanol isn't what it used to be, but I gather from what I was able to translate on my own that this car was named for the people who were involved with its' conception and construction. One thing for sure, it certainly is an improvement over the original4CV...
Dan
Wow! Nice detective work, Erbas.

Changed!
How about that one? Has it appeared before too?
I'm afraid...I'll check.
Yep..

I'm afraid some of the topic subjects are not accurately titled ... :-\
"Renault 4CV by Serra" would be easier to find as it only was built for Señor Enrique Coma Cros.
"Toyota JP6" by Brock as well. ;)

Can someone merge this one please?!
Merged
"It Should be Coma Gros" - so I changed it.
"It Shouldn't be Coma Gros"
Seem I can't please anyone, any more.
Period pic:
This car was built for Enrique Coma-Cros, the well known collector and authority on Pegaso - he has also written a number of books on the subject.
I'm sure Sr. Coma-Cros would be amused at his car being called a "Coma Gros" but I believe this is something that has originally been mistranslated on the 'net....... ;)
Make, year and coach builder please
PM sent (quite old re-post!)
It sure looks familiar, but I can't recall its name! :D
Up a level, should last long now...
