Time for a small hint.....
The man who built this car is a well-known name in MG circles.

Time for another hint - the man who built the car and whose surname was given to it has the initials P. G.

Well I expect that makes it the MG TC Special made and raced by Peter Gammon in 1952-3. He later used a Lotus Mk. VI with the MG engine.

That's the car!
Built by Peter Gammon in 1950 and raced then for two or three years.
