Second (wait...make that third) verse, same as the first..or second.

Anyway, this is another "special" that a friend photographed at a vintage meet recently.  Same deal as RtR#002.  One point for verified identification, possibly another point for detailed info about the car/builder/driver.

Happy puzzling.

Pooper - a Porsche powered Cooper?

That's what I originally thought, but all the photos of the original Pooper show a different engine cowling.

I'm still looking, too.

There was more than one Pooper.  There was Peter Lovely's special with a Porsche engine in the Cooper 500 streamliner and at lest one 'Bobtail' with a Porsche engine plus various copies ...

Aha!  I'd forgotten about Pete Lovely's Pooper, although this isn't it.  I'll give you 1 point for identifying the car and then buy myself a drink (of cream soda, my beverage of choice ;D ) for providing the remainder of the answer:

It's Cameron Healy's Cooper-Porsche ("Pooper") Mark VII (circa 1953, rebodied in 1954) with a 1720cc Porsche four cylinder motor.

And yes, it was also raced at the recent SCCA Vintage event in Portland, Or.
