Yes, eight possible coachbuilders that were building on Wolseleys in the 1940s - some more relevant than others I think.
Let's try Hilton of Rugby, Warks. who built a sports body on a 1935 Wolseley Hornet chassis.

I don't remember Wolseley using the name "Hornet" in the 1940s. Is it a 1930-36 Hornet re-bodied in 1947?
