The car is S/N 330GT/6537 and the alterations were done in the USA whilst the car was in the hands of well-known Ferrari owner John W. Mecom, who had bought it new from Chinetti Motors.

This car has just come up for auction.
Apparently it was modified for the original owner John W. Mecum Jr.
