One of my all time favourite trucks.

I'd like to know the name the year and what is special about it.

As usual one point only for the complete answer.

Looks like a 1939 International Harvester D300 truck  :-\, but what the louvred addition to the cab is, I have no idea.

I am a bit stumped, but here's a wild guess, as I can't find a lookalike anywhere: Fiat?

It's a Magirus-Deutz M65 from 1936 with a 12-cylinder Boxer engine
