Well, it appears to be a 1956 Opel Kapitan Coupe (!) being shown in an Opel show display, but I have no knowledge of Opel ever actually producing this rather attractive machine. Despite quite a bit of searching, I can't find a coachbuilder who could have been responsible. Half a point? ;)

It's indeed a 1956 Opel Kapitän Coupé, but I still need the coachbuilder. :-\

In 1955, Leonhard Dreier also built a Opel Kapitän station wagon for the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian TV) with a rigid roof rack for the cinematographer.
