Base car is obvious, but who did the conversion?

For one point, please respond and identify this car, its base, the year it was built, for whom and by whom.

roger

Is it a Hoffman conversion?

Is this one of the many modified 2CV cigarette promotional vehicles commissioned by Gauloise in Germany (it has the right colour scheme) in the 1980s?

Wendax

Yes, it was built for Gauloises. Locked for you to find the missing bits.

I was always intrigued by the Gauloises competition 2CVs as I was never certain who made them, and sadly still don't know today!  It wasn't Der Entenmacher was it?

Wendax

No, it wasn't.

Open to all again.

Djetset

It wasn't built by Ralph Korpys was it?

Yes, well done, as the builder was the hardest bit. The year you gave is too late.

So we do have the base car (Citroen 2 CV), for whom it was built (Gauloises) and by whom (Citroen Niederlassung Hamburg).
Locked for you to find the name given to this car by Gauloises and the year it was made.

I think it is the Gauloises-Coupé, lets try 1982  ;)

Close on both, but not completely.

It is called the Coupé-XXXX (It helps if you know how the 2CV is nicknamed in Germany) and the year is still slightly wrong.

Yes, a well-earned point for you.
