Ahh great!  :)
I didn't know it's already a featured puzzle on some other website!

But the most important bits are missing.

What's the name of the builder?
What is the nickname? (which is in fact a pun of the builder's name ;))

Locked for you until your next reply!

Yes and no. It's Otto Dättwyler's Porsche, but the name of the car is different and it's not mentioned on that website...

I'll give you a point for finding the right car, but leave it open for others to bring me the name of the nichname, agreed?

Perfect! :)

Well done! :applause:

It's the one Otto guessed on a passed puzzle. Now the car has been restored. It's finished except of the missing windows.

It was intended to look like a Porsche 904, but it's not VW-based.

It's a Porsche 356 SC built by Otto Dättwyler, and the car is named "Porotto"

But I'm afraid it's a repost since I found the above information through Google on ... autopuzzles.com!

You're right, thanks.
That's because I had the spellilng as 'Poroto' and the builder's name with only one 't'...  then it doesn't show up on a search.
I also searched for 'Peter' and 'Porsche Special' (as I had the builder as Otto's son Peter, but maybe that's wrong).
Anycase since it's quite a recent puzzle I'm going to have to merge it without points; sorry.
