It's actually not a 'kit' I'd say.

It appears to be a 924 GTS (fixed position headlights) set up for racing.

Obviously it's closely Porsche 924 related, and in fact it's one of these, but has a different designation, though.

Maybe I should explain. Of course it's a body kit, but not of some independent aftermarket producer.

I want to hear a number which isn't 924...

Of the 16 cars  only two were built by Porsche, the other 14 were sold as kits. The pictured one is the first one built in 1979 at Weissach.
