It's left hand drive which suggests that of the countries close to Australia it is not from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand or Japan - or even India or South Africa.  None of the other (not Argentina or Brazil) South American countries can be described as closer to Australia than Argentina and Brazil.  Hawaii, being part of the USA would count as American.  So, where's left?

Korea?

I don't know the three of them form a triangle.

Anyway a left hand drive car is unlikely to be Japanese.

Depends what you mean!

If you mean Japan is closer to Brazil or Argentina than Australia is, then it's probably about the same distance.
If you mean Japan is closer to Brazil or Argentina than it is to Australia, then no it isn't - it's closer to Australia!

If I understand the Google-translated text correctly, this is a Del RSB "Kanebo Dandy Special", driven by Mutsuaki Sanada in 1967.
