Yes, that is the right city. It would be helpful if you name the Breizh picture number.

Well, to call a French corsaire a merchant is kind of euphemistic.  :D

Take a cup of cidre, a crêpe au beurre salé and a kouign amann, put the Bagad de Lann-Bihoue CD into the player and get going, pros!

Delicious although I'm in the wrong part of the country for that morning delight.

C'harr-tan #5 is a magnificent Saviem Camion Isotherme bodied by Carrosserie Tual at Trédion and matches Breizh #10 the Chateau de Trédion

Yes, well done.

C'harr-tan #8 is a Georges Irat 11CV bodied by Morlaix of Courbevoie that may tie up with Breizh #4 - the Viaduc Ferroviaire at Morlaix?

Please note that I believe the carrossier of the Georges Irat is Carrosserie H. Morlet of Courbevoie and not as stated in some places as Carrosserie Morlaix of Courbevoie.
Perhaps someone can clear up this point.....

That's what I had in mind.

:bag:
I hadn't heard of a Carrosserie Morlaix before either. It must be Morlet.

woodinsight

Thanks Wendax - that clears the Morlaix/Morlet conundrum up now.

C'harr-tan #7 is a group of Corbin Merlin roadsters with Harley-Davidson engines, and Breizh #2 is the "Tombeau de Merlin" (Merlin's Tomb), the remains of a neolithic tumulus near Saint-Malon-sur-Mel in Brittany. Here Viviane, "The Lady of the Lake" is supposed to have imprisoned Merlin, the magician of Arthurian legend, after he had taught her all his magic secrets.

Or it could have been at Marlborough Mound in Wiltshire, UK...  ;)

C'harr-tan #10 is the Benz driven to victory in the 1908 St. Petersburg to Moscow race by Victor Hémery.
It links with Breizh #7 which is the Nouvelle Gare de Brest, Hémery's birthplace in 1876. (not the station but Brest!)

Now I know why I couldn't make the last connection!

Some sources say that Victor Hémery was born in Brest, but others (like the one I looked at) say that he was born in Sillé-le-Guillaume near Le Mans.

I wonder which is right?

Yes Tom I saw that as well but I came across Brest on more occasions than Sillé-le-Guillaume. The connection then was quite straightforward. I don't know which is correct either.
By the way I wouldn't have got the Merlin connection without a great deal more searching.

And the last one is gone, well done!

I guess Hémery's birthplace was destroyed during WW2.

Great! I surely create confusing puzzles, sorry for that. According to the German Wikipedia Hémery was born in Brest. But now I see that the French and English Wikipedias have Sillé-le-Guillaume as birthplace. His biographer  Jean-Yves Lassaux confirms the latter one.
