Yes, it is inspired by the Moss Mercedes-Benz SLR. Do you have any more information?

It uses Mercedes-Benz mechanicals, but not necessarily that of a 300 SL.

300 slr by rcc (rare car creations)?

Wendax

I think this one is French, because the picture was taken at the Epoqu'Auto this November in Lyon, somewhere in Hall 1 between "Thierry Automobile" (location LO 4/5) and Labocuir (location RQ 4/5), but even looking through the list of participating companies didn't help me much.  :(

ah ah Wendax I was doing the same thing...as I also saw that it was in epoqu'auto

Thierry Automobiles in Bron seems to be a good candidate (referenced as mercedes expert in few websites)! or art techniques automobiles... but internet do not bring much information on them.

...however some picture in flickr shows english comments... so maybe alternatives cars...

You would make very good detectives Wendax and Julien, as I did take this photo at the 2011 Epoqu'Auto in Lyon.  Where you both there too?

Anyway, although Wendax mentioned that this was somewhere near the Thierry Automobile stand, Julien gets the point for correctly identifying that they built the car.  It is Mercedes-based, although a Corvette powertrain can also be used.  More details are on their website.

Thank you for appreciating our sleuthing qualities. I've only been once in Lyon last September for a few hours, but have never been to Epoqu'Auto.  ;D
