It keeps amazing me how small this car is when you see somebody driving it.

It's me again. ;D Now I am wondering about whether anyone knows who made the body for the MBM SP-100 of 1960? As I understand it this car actually have a aluminum body unlike the "ordinary" MBM. I was therefore wondering whether it could perhaps have been built by Sauter who did the body on Monteverdis Ferrari 750 Monza coupe-conversion?

From a reliable Swiss source I understood that the original body was made by coach builder Peter Häner from Basel. Other sources claim it was a Heron body from UK, but I go for the first option. After an accident it disappeared in a shed and was discovered in 1978, but the body was almost completely gone. Between 1982 and 1992 it was restored by a team of Swiss specialists.
