What's this, from when - for 1 point?

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

You've got the right car there, although it didn't resurface in 1966.
i believe the bodywork is from somewhat later than that but the information is a bit scant.
Have another look at that date, and in the meantime it's locked for you.

Refered to as 1954, so presume made in 1954  ;D

?Resurfaced 1966? I think BDC refer to the car being found again in 66.

I have ref. of it being at Silverstone in 2009 in the hands of Tom McWhirter

I'll try and dig deeper

I think really you've solved this as you've given me what I asked for: It is a Tojeiro-Bristol with a 2-litre Bristol engine built in 1954 or 1955.

I have it as resurfacing again in the mid 1990s and it first appeared in its (almost completed) restored form in 1996 at a Bristol Owners' Club event.

Well done!

Here's another pic:
