Anyhow, name the make, model year and coachbuilder for a point.

It's a Fiat 1100 by Castagna featuring the patented pillarless "Vistotal" windscreen.
I've two sligthly different ones in my archive, one made in 1949 and another in 1950. I would guess this could be from 1949, according to the trim details.

Castagna is the coachbuilder but I have the base car as a Fiat 1400 and the year as 1950.
As the Fiat expert I stand to be corrected as my source may be incorrect.

1950 1400 Castagna indeed! This is the reason why the two photos of the 1100s were only similar to this one. I looked into the wrong folder...  :-[
