Not what it appears to be at first glance......
Identify the make and year it was built to gain a point.
Moving up
Looks like a Lagonda but as you mentioned it is not what it looks, I guess a one-off body with Lagonda base ?
Bentley Mark VI special made to look thirties with chrome wirewheels et all?
The car is not based on a Lagonda or a Bentley......

Jaguar?
Yes, based on Jaguar XJ components....
Locked for you in the meantime
Silurian, Jaguar MkII 3.4 based, (though the instruments look decidedly XJ40 or later) as I understand it, with the special retro based body (alloy or plastic?) built upon that base and extra long at that to satisfy the needs of the wedding taxi firm that exploits it. I don't think many Silurians were built.

Built by MGP Restorations, Magor, Gwent (Mike Phillips & Jack Orwin).
I believe only two were built between 1992 & 1996 and the base involved Jaguar XJ components.
Well found and another point for you.
Surely one of the largest kit-form cars ever built?
Probably much smaller than an Auburn Speedster replica...
