No Jensen connection that I'm aware of.

It does look familiar in that sort of way, but it's not actually Italian!

It's a designsketch for the Owen Sedanca, designed by Chris Humberstone and based on a Jaguar XJ6 chassis. Only 5 were ever build ...

It is by Chris Humberstone, yes, but although it's very similar to the Owen Sedanca it's not, AFAIK, a sketch for that design.  It's so similar he probably designed this on the same day though!

It has a name all its own, which I need for that point but I'll lock it for you for 48 hours since you've found the designer.

You're right, I should have looked a bit further, I thought I had it there. Anyway (after Googling a bit further), it's an Imp 408 disigned by Chris Humberstone. I've found it on a site where I found this picture:

At the end of the page is the same 'sketch' and there it's called 'Sauannah', also designed by Chris Humberstone. The rest of the site is also interesting, few things I didn't know ...

Note:

I replaced the hot-linked pic with an embedded picture of the car.

I guess it should be 'Savannah' instead of 'Sauannah'.

That's it Delorean - Savannah is the name I'm looking for!
Although it appears on the same page as the Imp 408 it doesn't actually say this car was meant to have an Imp engine, although it does perhaps imply it..

Anyway you've got its name so that gets you the point; well done!

I guess it should be 'Savannah' instead of 'Sauannah'.

The latter is an unusual, though not unheard of person's name. At least one Sauannah in the UK, as many as six in the US  :)

That's 7 people who didn't know how to spell 'Savannah' then....!
Title: SOLVED: Djetset #623 - Chris Humberstone Design Savannah
Post by: Djetset on December 01, 2012, 07:09:39 AM
Hopefully we've not seen this one before, although it does look familiar!  So, for a point, who designed it, and what was its model name?

I thought this might be a re-post, but couldn't find it on a search.  Anyway, a point to you, and perhaps this one can now be merged please.  Thanks.
