For today's nice red car - what is it and from when does it date?

Google Image Search continues to raise its ugly head on AutoPuzzles.
For the sake of our newer members who may not be aware of past discussions on it, Google Image Search as a means of solving puzzles is banned on this website.

AutoPuzzles is primarily a game of automotive knowledge, not of who can copy and paste the quickest.

We ask all members to remember and respect this, and retain the right to ask puzzle-solvers how they came to their answer.

Have fun!

It's not that car, no.
That would actually have been a recent repost as the car you mention was my puzzle NEH 1312 in about October 2011, although curiously I can find absolutely no mention of it anywhere on AutoPuzzles, and despite having gone through all my own past posts I can see no sign of it ever having been posted, moved or solved!  Yet it was!
I don't know if anyone is able to throw any light on that?

I was going to post a link to it but of course am unable to do so.

Did it get merged with another puzzle?

I can't remember, but even if it did I should be able to find my original post by looking through my Own Posts in my profile, and I can't!  It's just not there!  Also I should then be able to find that car in its other puzzle just by searching for it..

Edit:  Now that you mention it, I think this car was also pictured in one of either woodinsight's or barrett's group puzzles, Conundrum or may one of the others.  Can either of them remember it?

2nd Edit:  I've found the car in woodinsight's #363 Conundrums; it's car No. 5, identified by Oguerrerob in his reply #57.

But there's still no mention of my NEH 1312; perhaps it all got removed because it had featured in woodinsight's puzzle?  If I were able to go back in time I'd probably find I removed it myself...!

It's not an R.G.S. Coupe is it?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.
