What's this car and where was it built?

Michel Gitano, build by Michel Motors from the Philippines. It has a hybrid engine ... It was presented in 2011, but I don't know if they started building it yet ...

To me it's just a 'Michel Gitano', but I found one source that called it 'Michel Motorsports Gitano EV Sports Car' ... Is that the name you're looking for?

It's a full EV rather than a hybrid, so no - that's not its name.

As you wish, but its name is instantly traceable everywhere; I can't really give someone else the point because you've got the car, but I can't quite give you the point yet either because you haven't given me the name!

Why don't you just Google it and there's the name staring right out at you?!

Hybrid is probably an accurate description of this car. Early press coverage included the phrase "self charging". Later coverage more accurately described the car like this:

the GT111's most unique feature is it doesn't need recharging because it is self-charging done by a component they call "RANGE EXTENDER".
