Indeed so!
Atually I have it as from 1947, but we won't split hairs!

I wonder who built that body. If it is 1947, it must be one of the earliest?

Although I can't confirm it as my sources are not at hand at the moment, I know that early A6G bodies were built by Medardo Fantuzzi. I'll try to confirm that later if no other member knows.
This car housed the first 2 litre A6G engine; it was modified a little after these pictures were taken for its entry into the 1947 Mille Miglia, where it was driven by Villoresi.
Only this one car was built, in July 1947, and I can find nothing about who actually built the bodywork.
Well, it isn't exactly a thing of beauty is it; if you'd built it would you admit you'd done so? ;)
Is the body in primer or did they paint it with a chocolate bar and a brick? (As a drill sergeant once asked me about my combat boots.)

Another picture. I for one quite like it, but I do wonder who made the body (?).
