What's this and where was it built - for 1 point?:

It is a homebuilt microcar from Dessau, Germany. It carries a registration issued in 1948. The logo carries a resemblance to the Spatz logo, but there seems to be no connection to Egon Brütsch's cars. The logo reads something like DKD.

Yes, that's all that seems to be known about this car, so its base remains a mystery.
The site where I found it reckoned it said "DRD" on the front but it wasn't very clear.

In 1948, the DDR didn't exist yet. It was still the Soviet occupation zone of Germany.  ;)
