I have in front of me a copy of Autocar July 11,1952 about this car written by R.Brock with the title:Special bodied Healey"
He writes :"When the chassis had been arrived I immediately bent up and welded the structures in the shape desired"
My conclusion after reading the article that the car was built by R.Brock himself and most probably in England.
On ebay I found a collage of photos of the construction of the Healey PPD 224.

It should be autospeurder's point then, and not mine. Great pictures on ebay!

SACO

Yes ,great pictures !
I found the car in " Healey-classic " , where Brock raced in Switzerland in 1951 and England in 1952 ?

As often happens, it got solved right after I posted it as a featured puzzle.  :D
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Another view. This is the same Ray Brock who built the 'Scientific' Jowett Jupiter-engined streamliner. He was an HRG man before the war and raced an HRG Aerodynamic before the Healey
