It looks a derivative of the Minissima of William Towns, in this case should be a left hand drive and left side door that was a conversion made by   the engineering firm GKN Sankey of Telford, Shropshire UK. The original Minissima was presented in 973 but the GKN version appeared in 1978.

It does look like it but it has absolutely nothing to do with it!
