Don't think so, no.  Believe it's based on a later car, but I may be wrong.  I only have the engine size.

Appears to be known as a DJS , presumably the builder's initials and 'Special' as is usually the case. Built in 1985, and with a 1600cc engine so I would guess based on a Vauxhall Victor....

That's it!  Well found.
It has a 1598 cc engine, which identifies it as a Vauxhall unit.
