Our Italian members won't like you for asking that...
Definitely not!
some Citroen parts in this car?
Steeringwheel on the right ; English?
Reliant?
Morris?
Gilbern?
Sorry - I should have realised that "No Morris bits" rules out all BMC and BMC-based cars, including the Gilbern with its MG engine, which being B-series had 90% commonality with Morris engines and into the bargain had Morris Minor rack and pinion steering.
So, not Reliant, not BMC, with those small wheels is it Imp-based?

No, it's not an official Vauxhall product and it's much later than 1970.
Based on a Viva?

Based on a Viva?
Don't think so, no. Believe it's based on a later car, but I may be wrong. I only have the engine size.

I'll treat you to a front view; not that it will help to identify it!:
Oh! My eyes! They burn! :yuck:
Appears to be known as a DJS , presumably the builder's initials and 'Special' as is usually the case. Built in 1985, and with a 1600cc engine so I would guess based on a Vauxhall Victor....

That's it! Well found.
It has a 1598 cc engine, which identifies it as a Vauxhall unit.
Here are unmodified pictures of this beauty...:
