Maybe the name that you are looking for is "CITY CAR" built in Portugal by Alberto Carvalho Araújo & C.ª, Lda. starting in 1985 until early '90.  This company used the brand MOTALLI too for that microcar.

No, I don't have that name.
I acknowledge that my puzzle is actually the same car as the Motelli but this car is UK-registered and its owner has a different name for it.  Whether he's wrong or whether it was marketed in the UK under this other name I'm not quite sure.  I'll have to delve into it and see what else I can find!

The car was advertised by the vendor as "an import" so it's nothing made in UK under licence.
Although described as a "1970 Mini Moto Lite" I suspect that is a corruption of its real name.   It's surprising how often vendors have no idea what car they actually have...!

So I'll give you the point for this one as I reckon it is indeed an imported Motalli.
