Clearly a Daimler Dart. It's a 1962 Daimler Dart 250 with hardtop by Anthony H. Croucher and it was nicknamed Fish Tank SP

Exactly right; known officially as AHC Daimler SP250 and it has a retractable hardtop, although I believe it no longer retracts...

I´ve seen it at NEC 2012 in the flesh, too.

Here´s a (bad quality) shot of it´s information sheet:

Always nice to see another hardtop convertible with an externally stored roof.

Here is a detail shot of the mechanism within one of the rear fins

Did I meet you at NEC without knowing it? Carnut, Djetset and Gilescooperuk made themselves known on the Lea-Francis OC stand in the same hall as the SP250s were.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

I´ve been talking quite a while with a guy at the Lea-Francis stand with the purple/golden car on sunday (around noon).

Several people where around, but to be honest I just remember this very kind older man with the white beard.

Don´t tell me it´s been you...

If he looked like this, it would have been.
Was it you that bought a Lynx publicity leaflet?

What - was Santa on the LeaF stand as well?!
And I didn't notice him..

Unbelievable!   :o
Now that must have been some kind of instinct really. ;)

I didn´t really talk to many people because I´ve been in a kind of a hurry.

What a small world.

I really feel pleased, that I had the opportunity to talk to you there.
And you made my day with this rare piece of automotive literature you´ve sold to me...
