Brazil is right!
"America" is an awfully unspecific question;  when one wants to know if something is Brazilian they would not normally ask "American?"!
Describing a person as "American" means, I would say, "from the USA" 99.999% of the time!

It could indeed!
This is the very first Malzoni prototype.
Although it did lead to the Puma series at the time of this car there was no such thing as a Puma, so the answer to the puzzle is Malzoni.
