Hispano Suiza (written without the hyphen) V10 Supercharged, based on Audi R8, made by Delmar 04 company, engine tuned by MTM. World premiere at 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
It has nothing to do with original Hispano-Suiza and La Hispano Suiza Fábrica de Automóviles SA or SAFRAN.
That's right; this Hispano Suiza is purely a coachbuilder.
Other views:
I disagree about Hispano Suiza just being a coachbuilder. This car was thought as a renaissance of the marque and was promoted under the name Hispano Suiza Gran Turismo Coupé, as still can be seen on their website.

I was actually quoting from one of the websites where I got the pictures.
I think they were really referring to the fact this car has neither a Hispano Suiza chassis not their own engine, but is merely a rebodied Audi.. It's not unusual of course to use others' engines but this car is not really re-engineered - just rebodied.
There is also the following, which is referred to on a number of sites. I don't know if it's been resolved:
QUOTE
On last March 2010, Hispano Suiza Fábrica de Automóviles SA in Spain and SAFRAN SA in France – sole holders of the rights to the historic name and brand of "Hispano-Suiza" – have released an official statement which affirmed they didn't participate in the project nor they did the authorization for the use of the name and the brand "Hispano-Suiza".
It also claimed that Hispano Suiza Fábrica de Automóviles SA and Safran SA were determined to take legal actions on this matter.

Consequently we should rename many solved puzzles, for example the recently puzzled
Pontiac Firebird by Avanti (= Avanti AVX). ;)

OK, but I don't think we'll bother.
I wasn't suggesting renaming anything, just clarifying that although it's called a Hispano Suiza it's really an Audi in drag..
