Looks like they shrunk the JEEP XJ-002......just for fun
It's not that, but somehow you are not that far....
Copper?
It's sad look reminds me of: "You are big and I'm small and that's not fair" :D
I know that this car was shown in a certain event, with a name.
I don't know if this name is the model's or the company's name, but it is not Copper.
The XJ002 was in the same event...
Hmmm. The XJ002 was shown in 1970 at the NYC auto show.
So this was there too?
Exactly!
Jeep XJ002
I actually found the name Jeep Bolide. or XJ-002 Bolide. or simply Bolide. Apparently build by "The Bolide Motor Car Company " and is called "the first SUV".

Oguerrerob, I've noticed that you have the unpleasant habit to post an answer without check it...I mean if you think that you were close to the solution, for example here:

why don't you took the time to google the Blackjack Avon and the Pininfarina Autobianchi?
I'm sure you will found hundreds of pictures of both cars, no one nearly close to those.
But now it seems you are also avoiding to read the previous answers, even when there is only 1 page....
I don't want to seem to rude and I apologize if I am to direct, but this is not the 1st time.
This is a game and we dont' have to take it to seriously but it will be a signal of respect, to check your own answers (when just shoots in the dark) and to read the previous guesses. ;)

In the same event, there was the Jeep X001, the Jeep X002, the Bolide Can-Am II and this car, with a picture of each.
The name I have is not 'Bolide' or 'SUV'.
Here you are the pic of the X002 Bolide taken att he same event.
Anyone?
The name I have is the name of a very well known car...
Midget?
Not Midget...but looking closer to the car, I can see the reason for that name...
Ghost?
I can actually see cars with that name even now, if I look outside my window...
Taxi?
Police?!
;D
Kett-Car!
none of the above...
Mini?
Not Mini, but you got my clue...
Golf ?
Four-Two?
Not a Golf or a For-two...
Beetle?
Not a Beetle, that is one of the best sellers ever...but I live in Italy...
But it doesn't wear an Italian name, does it?
Like Uovo?
Also seen om a movie not long ago!!
Panda?

Yes!
Do you know more about this car?
Wish I did Paul!
But as we now know where it was shown, and what it was called, we might find out some more.
From the shape of it, it have to be fiberglass. As the other have some simular features, I guess there was a theme of a sort. Maybe for a challange?
I have only the name and the place. :-\
It have minilites, 12, or 13, I think. 4 bolt. Leafsprings? OK, it is 1970, but on such a small car? That might be a rear, or 4WD?
It's rather short. It would not suprice me if it was based on a Honda, or a British car.
I have a feeling for Japan. This might be just because of the fact that Honda worked hard on the american arena back then.
The minilights might be a lead towards the UK, but I have a problem seeing a proper platform.
In the hole...
Is it an AMC Renault?
I found a remark on a well-known blog that Dann Deaver, the designer of the Jeep XJ002, also built an electric car called Panda. That seems to be it. Does your source mention the electric engine?
I'm sure you got it! :applause: :applause:
The car is indeed electric and the background is the same of the one pictured witht he XJ002 featured in the same artile!
I thought it was Jeep-related, because in the same article, the same page there are 3 cars...this one plus 2 Jeeps but in the caption and in the article is not that clear.
Well done Wendax...this one was stuck here for too long!
Point for you and for Bugace!
Wow - great find!
It's been here for too long now...thank you Wendax for finding a name for this!
