What is this?
1 point for you.
A project of Voisin ?
Not Voisin...
Where's the rest of it?

There's all you need there...even more than in a conventional car (for those days at least).
Remind me of one of those high speed Cable run models
All it needs is the tether/cable, and the cylinder head sticking out of the cockpit and a circlular track
I don't know how far it went or if it just remained a project, but it was not a Cable run model.
..nevertheless it share something with that... :lurk:
OK, 1 point for the nationality PLUS a simple feature of this car (quite easy if you read my previous reply) and 1 point for the name of the "builder", quite common in that place (I'll give more clues to find him later).
Built to run on ovals?
Built to run in a straight line I guess?
Opps....sorry for misleading you.
I don't know why but I thought roger was referring to these:
Scandinavian?
Remotely controlled?

Scandinavian?
Yes.
Remember for 1 point, place and a simple technical detail.

Remotely controlled?
Nope, You can find it nowadays in thousands of cars (and they say they will be more and more in the future!)
Radar-equipped?
For some form of racing on ice?
Electric?

Electric?
Yes, just like that.
Now for the point, where is the place?
Since RTR was so close is locked for him for 1 attempt.
You can all have a go for the name.
P.S. I thought Roger meant cordodrome cars :) (or whatever they're called - tethered model cars maybe?)
Yes, now I realized.
Since it was a long-sleeping puzzle I hope I did not waste anybody's time with that reply.
This vehicle was an electric concept, 4WD and 4 brakes on each wheel ("like the Bugatti 4WD" says the author of the article) and was built in XXXX by Mr XXXX XXXX. (don't count the Xs).

Ok. Here's my 1 attempt...and it's a wild-assed guess: Acksjön lake in Sweden? (Slightly different from the surface I race on!) ;D
Ok 1 point for RayTheRat, who nailed the nation.
No need to go trough all the cities in Sweden, it was from Stockholm.
Now, who is the creator?
XXXX XXXXXXson. (now you can count the Xs)
Lars Johansson?
Sven Ericksson?
Sven Xxxxtsson
Sven Bengtsson?
Correct!
Was it a blind guess?
Yes ;D
Wow...I thought it was a known name.
There's nothing more about in the article I've got...the year should be 1932.
