I'm sure I can't explain simple things  :D...it happens when it's not your language and you have to find your way through the words you know to express an idea but, hey...there is just 1 rule here...1 guess and after 24h you can guess again!  ;D

I found my copy of book #21 - Microcar Stories, so now I know that car #35 is the Little King, shown in Belfast, Maine in 1958.  It's way in the back on page 182.

Another 24 hours gone:

I had identified it already and it would have been the next one on my list to post (tomorrow)  ;)

Unfortunately my library is still in store for a few more weeks so I can't answer any of the others at the moment...........frustrating!  :(
Great puzzle though and it's prompted me to order a couple of books that I didn't know about.

Unfortunately, I own less than ten of those books.  :(

Paul Jaray

You do not need to have them to answer.
I chose these particular books because (some of them at least) they have a particular subject: italian\brazilian\french\british\spanish\belgian\dutch\swiss\australian\hungarian cars or buggies, mini and vw-based cars or racing cars from DDR-Italy-Usa, plus some kit cars...I mixed the pics to make it difficult (you'll find different vw-based cars or buggies) but if you know the car you can guess a book!

Oguerrerob, I'm sure you got the rule.
Why couldn't you wait 80 minutes? I'm taking note of your replies and, for example, Wendax waited till the exact hour to post his reply 31 seconds after, 1 1\2 minutes Woodinsight, 1 3\4 minutes Carnut. I'm sure it's frustrating for them too.
I said I don't like drastic measures and I won't exclude you for such a small thing. On the other hand, to respect others, I won't accept your guess till tomorrow, past 07.53am.

Sorry, didn't notice I just waited until following morning.  :-[

The idea was yours, was it not?  ;)

PJ: I don't think precluding further answers after a rules violation is excessively harsh. There are over 150 other Pro puzzles to work on while ones sits on the sidelines watching this one.

Aha - maybe a bonus point for coming up with the idea then?!
