Looks a bit old-fashioned for 1901, so probably a Benz

No, this is not a Benz and it is not from 1901 (around 1901)

Strange, it doesn't comply with the information in my books. Falke started building automobiles in 1889 with the Voiturette Typ A which was a copy of the French Decauville and much more filigree than the puzzle car. The Typ A was succeeded in 1900 by the Voiturette Typ B, front-engined as the puzzle car, but still much lighter than the pictured car. The next model was the 6/8 PS in 1905, already following the standard layout, looking much more modern than the puzzle car. If there is no undocumented Falke in between, I just can guess that it is some sort of Typ B, built much sturdier to transport more than two people.

There's no type mentioned, just a horsepower. You have one more guess

The 4 HP engine of the Voiturette would have been too weak. Since I didn't find any valuable information I can just guess: 6 HP?

No, not 6 HP
