I couldn't find it in your book so I just assumed that it wasn't from Hungary.

Assumption is a dangerous thing so let's start again - Hungarian?

pnegyesi

I have found a lot of new stuff recently and before I put out a 2nd edition of the book and publish my findings, I torment you with a few puzzles.

So, yes, this is from Hungary. And not impossible to solve. A small hint: the son of the builder was well-known.

Wendax

Built by Ernö Rubik, father of the Rubik's cube inventor of the same name?

pnegyesi

No, Ernő Rubik sr only built gliders and participated in the official microcar initiative between 1953-1956.

This car was built later on.

Could it be Jozsef Horvath?
Not sure if it's his son but there is a footballer named Csaba Horvath and there is also a Csaba Horvath who is an Olympic sprint canoeist.
