Before you scream, repost, I'd say, no. So please identify the chassis, coachbuilder, the year and if you feel up to it the race as well. There's a nice, shiny point waiting for you.

Anotherone that made its way through to the pro stage!  :cheer:

I´m quite sure this is Hellmuth Richter´s DKW F9 Eigenbau, ca.1951.

It is locked for you. It is an IFA DKW F9 based racer with Hellmuth Richter at the wheel. But I need also the coachbuilder for the point

That´s the only facts I do know so far, but I´ll keep diggin´:

O.K., the car has been fitted with a body called "Pontonkarosserie Halle" and was developed under the official roof of the "Arbeitsgruppe Sportwagen Chemnitz" in 1950.
The builder of the 1950 version was a guy called Herr Buschbeck, I´m quite sure.
And in 1951 it won the "Rund um das Scheibenholz" race in Lipsia with a different body.

The second body in 1951 has been built under the roof of the "IFA FEW (Forschungs- und Entwicklungswerk)" by Buschbeck again, if my source is right...

that's the thing. There were more than one IFA DKW F9 based sportscars built at "Arbeitsgruppe Sportwagen Chemnitz". - one of them was even a puzzle here before.

BTW photo was taken at the 1952 "Stadtparkrennen "Rund um das Scheibenholz"" in Leipzig.

A very-well deserved point for you

Darn! I received the book where it is pictured recently, but as often I'm toooo late.

BTW: Congratulations to your 700. point, Pal! :applause:

The two cars were rebodied older IF F9 racecars. One of them was this one: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=25104.msg378779#msg378779
