You know, since Autopuzzles I don't believe in the word 'tough' anymore.
However I hope some of these won't get solved too quickly... (http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g106/pan1968/Gifs/0002-1.gif)
up a level!
Firstly, I think this is a great puzzle, thank you for putting it together.
#3 is an 1918 Austro-Daimler Pferd, they were made in agricultural and military versions, I'd say that this is the ag model because it's got a belt pulley.
#5 is a Kopfli Trumpf, made in Switzerland.
#11, I'm not sure about. Is it an Astra BM21? I've found a few photos of this very dumper, and it's suggested it's a BM21, except I can't find any other BM21's that are exactly the same.

Great performance! As the Anglo-Saxons got no "ö" on your keyboards I'm generous and award 3 points so far.
BTW:
I included the score list in the initial post now.

Impressive...
What made you think it's a Skogsjan? I'm waiting curiousely of your PM.

BTW: it's NOT
that Skogsjan..
KFM Desert Lion and Haulamatic 620 are correct guesses!
#6 is a Normet Variomec LF 090 D underground dump truck.
#2 I think is a Sisua A-45
QuoteClose but not exactly...
Found it, it's the Sisua SA-1631 Proto V8 GM -78.
#9, is it German made?
#8 is an Albach, Silvator 2000? mobile wood chipper.
11 appears to be a White-Freightliner Uni-Body Half-Cab, WHFT/WHFD with a 62 Series cab. Can't find a reference to RHD versions though.

Regrettably, I have to agree. #11 is closer to a White-Freightliner dumper than an Astra.
Is #4 a Hanomag?
#9 is a 1996 Eicher 656 VAC, designed by Von Luigi Collani. I'm not sure if this was a production tractor, or a one off.

You already know it and you want to confirm? ;D
QuoteYou already know it and you want to confirm?
No, I don't know what it is. I didn't realise that there were so many different makes of German made loaders. I've looked at a lots and lots of them, and can't find anything similar. I thought it might be a way of narrowing down the make.
If it's "not quite" a Hanomag, it could be a Faun (although I haven't found one similar) ...
They also built tractors, but it's not their main business..

No.
"not quite" was misleading. It's neither a Hanomag nor has it anything to do with Hanomag.
#4 Kaelble?
#4 Zettelmeyer?
Some crumbs left for Pro's.
I think #1 is a Skogsjan 495.
Was #10 used in mines?

No. Four digits and a word.
I've seen #10 before. If I just knew where...
Was it alternatively powered like fuel-cell?
#1 must be a Skogsjan 2000 Soft.

Right!! The owner was a co-worker of mine when I was working at Frankfurt airport. A fascinating mashine when it wasn't out of order. Just like a dinosaur when it rised in the morning. Unfortunately it was broken almost all the time...
After Skogsjan was overtaken by Caterpillar the project was abandoned. This prototype survived and was sold for a bargain to my colleague who gives it a lot TLC.

In this case it's our Pal.
May it be an extra challenge in the future. :)
Allemano, thank you for the points. I look forward to your next off-road type of puzzle, if you post one.
Well, thanks for the extra point. I got frustrated after not finding the car, that's why I asked Paus directly

Sometimes it has to be that way. I still have a return call to do regarding this one: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=9794.0
Maybe some Kodakchrome color pics are available. ;)
Thanks, I think #11 is a White-Freightliner though and not an Astra.
