The only other picture I have of this truck:
Is it a Bub?
No
Carrying its heavy load to the darkest place
Hint: it has an unusual technical feature.
Well the wheels look a bit like the electric-motor wheels of the Lohner-Porsche and although I've never seen a photograph of one, most of the accounts of Lohner-Porsche activities mention trucks so perhaps that's what it is.
Since it seems to have a radiator, it would be petrol-electric if it is from L-P.
No connection with Lohner-Porsche, and no petrol-electric engine, sorry.
Man, this was hard.
It is a german 1924-25 27/45HP LWD 3 ton truck with kardan-driven front wheel drive, built by Lippische Werke AG Detmold.
Hooray, we finally have a winner! :applause: :applause: :applause:
Very well-earned two points for you!
Georgano has it as an 30 hp engined truck. Where have you got the 27/45 HP from?
QuoteWhere have you got the 27/45 HP from?
From a different german 5 volume truck compendium... ;)
According to Metternich it had a four-cylinder engine of 2.5 litre displacement delivering 30 hp. It was designed by engineer Franz Meyer using several of his patents. The planned series production never got really under way.
It was shown at the 1924 Berlin Auto Show

I happened to find another picture:
