It just escaped the junkyard.

For one point, please respond and identify this car and its coachbuilder.

Getting closer. It is Opel-based and there are some Rekord parts in there.

Yes, and who was the coachbuilder?

max

"Inspired" by the Martin Walter Vauxhall Cresta conversion, it seems.

This one won't long last at pro level

This should be a conversion by Vogt Autotechnik.

They build many special Opel ...

Wendax

Yes, it is. What took you so long?  ;)

Another point for you, congratulations.

The Diplomat B was the only 'KAD-B' model with this style of headlights. Aftermarket, or is this rather a Diplomat?

Wendax

I was aware of it and I'm not absolutely sure about the model, but the owner described it as an Admiral in an ad. I think he would have used the higher-valued Diplomat name if it were one.

Just by pure incidence I´ve come across this picture of another Opel Admiral "Station Wagon"- conversion.
Maybe it´s a Vogt, too.
It´s been used as a service vehicle during car races by the ONS (=Oberste Nationale Sportbehörde):

A Diplomat Kombi by Vogt. Apparently 11 Admiral and 1 Diplomat Kombi were built by Vogt-Autotechnik. Seven of them had a Rekord C Caravan back, five a Rekord D one.
