It seems as if VEB Kraftverkehrinstandsetzung built the similar Barkas Express featured here before: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=19619.0
In fact, I just have a recent name of the company that built the puzzle car. Maybe the company was expropriated and turned into a "VEB Kraftverkehrinstandsetzung xxxx" as they were rebuilding truck cabins in the GDR, but they are not the one that built the above mentioned Barkas.

It's a mini bus called the "~~Schwarza~~ Schwarzatal Express" in Schwarzburg Thüringen from the late sixties I guess. Still searching for the builder...

The builder was a small coachbuilding company called "Autowolf Lichtenau". They do exist today.
