Sachsen?
Built in Saxony, but in use somewhere else
built by Fleischer?
No, the builder is less known
Made by VEB Kraftverkehrinstandsetzung?
It seems as if VEB Kraftverkehrinstandsetzung built the similar Barkas Express featured here before: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=19619.0
In fact, I just have a recent name of the company that built the puzzle car. Maybe the company was expropriated and turned into a "VEB Kraftverkehrinstandsetzung xxxx" as they were rebuilding truck cabins in the GDR, but they are not the one that built the above mentioned Barkas.
So is this company still around with a different name?
Yes and they have a picture of the puzzle car on their site ;D
That was tough!
It's a mini bus called the "Schwarza Schwarzatal Express" in Schwarzburg Thüringen from the late sixties I guess. Still searching for the builder...
The builder was a small coachbuilding company called "Autowolf Lichtenau". They do exist today.
Well done, Allemano! The fun is solving the tough ones, isn't it?
Another well-earned point for you. And thanks for the additional pictures.
The hardest part was to find a category for these kind of vehicles. "schienenlos", "gleislos", "touristenbus", "bus-zug", "parkzug", "parkbus", "mini-bus", "auto-mini-bus" etcetera pepe..
