The chassis type reminds me of small agricultural vehicles I´ve seen in the alpine region.

Like someone has put a selfmade Jeep-style body on a tiny old Aebi-tractor...

US made 1961 Ferguson Bearcat.  :)

Before ATV's the government needed a shape turning rugged 4X4 vehicle for use by its survey crews. Thus the Bearcat was born. Government designed and trickey to drive. It has articulated power steering with independed front and back sections. Electric clutch and a Kohler air cooled engine with about 35 horses. It is low geared 3 speeds forward and one in reverse.
